INTRODUCTION

BEST is a national programme for workers to get a basic education in English Language to PSLE level. English has 4 modules.

 

 

COURSE CONTENT

Module 1 is the lowest equivalent to Primary 3 level while Module 4 is the highest equivalent to PSLE level.

 

 

COURSE MEDIUM

English

 

 

ENTRY REQUIREMENT

At least Primary Three educational level or posses less than Secondary Four educational level (non English stream)

 

COURSE SCHEDULE

Classes are conducted twice a week in the evenings over 20 weeks per module.

Course commencement dates: January and July each year

Award holders must achieve at least 75% attendance and sit for all examinations. Those who failed to do so would have to refund the sponsored amount of $60.
