INTRODUCTION

The aim of the course is to provide the basic knowledge and skills for participants to perform the job of an assistant baker.

Course duration of 1 year (3 modules, per module is 17 weeks). Conducted twice a week on weekday evenings, 6.00 pm -10.00 pm

Course	Nitec in Baking Course (Bread / Cake / Pastry)
Course Fees	$ 4,500 ($1,500 x 3)
CDAC Sponsored Fee	$ 3,375 ($1,125 x 3)
Fees to be paid by Award Holder	$ 1,125 ($375 x3)
*Commendation Award	$360 ($120 x 3)
** Achievement Incentive	$540 ($180 x 3)

Award holders must achieve at least 75% attendance and sit for all exams. Those who failed to do so would have to refund the sponsored amount of $3,375.

CDAC sponsorship is for the course fees. Trainees must bear additional cost for registration fees, uniform, tools, textbooks at approximately $570.
