BUILDER CERTIFICATE IN PLUMBING AND PIPEFITTING


 

INTRODUCTION

The course aims to provide an opportunity for those who have not received any formal education to attain a recognised qualification in Plumbing & Pipefitting. Training includes the use of plumbing tools, equipment and material for the installation of sanitary, gas and water applicants for both domestic and industrial uses in accordance with the regulations of the Ministry of Environment and Public Utilities Board.

Plumbing principles, code of practice and drawing Basic pipework, pipefittng practice and apply practice

COURSE SCHEDULE

Course duration of 2 years (2 modules, 198 hours per module), conducted twice a week on weekday evenings from 6.30pm to 9.30pm

(Participants must passed Module 1 before proceeding to Module 2)

 

 

ENTRY REQUIREMENT

Minimum 3 GCE ‘N’ or 3 GCE ‘O’ level passes in English, Mathematics and a Science or Technical subject; or

Holders of National Trade Certificate 2 (NTC 2) awarded by Institute of Technical Education; or

Holders of Skills Evaluation Certificate (SEC) / Basic Builder Certificate (BBC) with Secondary 2 education or pass English entrance test conducted by CITI.
