INTRODUCTION

The Nitec in Hairstyling Course (module 1-4) provides a comprehensive training for those who are inexperienced in all theoretical and practical aspects of cutting, setting, colouring and perming of the hair.

The course is divided into 4 modules which covers extensive theory and practical lessons. Upon successful completion of the course, you will obtain modular certificates endorsed by the Institute of Technical Education.

Basic Hairstyling - Shampooing & Blow Drying

Hair Setting

Basic Cutting & Perming

Basic Colouring

Practices for Module 1 and 2 will be done on dolly head. Live models will be available in modules 3 and 4.

Course duration is 720 hours (2-year course) plus additional 60 hours for On-the Job-Training (OJT)

Thrice weekly from 10 am - 1 pm; 2 pm - 5 pm or 6 pm - 9 pm

Full Course Fee	$4800 ($1200 X 4)
CDAC Sponsored Fee	$3600 ($900 X 4)
Upfront Payment by Award Holder	$1200 ($300 X 4)
*Commendation Award	$240

* Upon successful completion of each module

Award holders must achieve at least 75% attendance and sit for all examinations. Those who

failed to do so would have to refund the sponsored amount of $3600.

Trainees must bear additional cost for examination, tools etc at approximately $300 - $500.
