INTRODUCTION

The Mobile Crane Operation Course aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to operate a Mobile crane. The certificate attained can be used to apply for a license from Ministry of Manpower to operate a mobile crane.

Operational safety and procedures

Cargo ratios, Signalling

Characteristics of ropes and methods of inspection

Types of slinging and safety practices

Practical exercises in handling loads

COURSE MEDIUM

English or Mandarin

COURSE SCHEDULE

Course duration is 82.5 hours

11 full days (8.30 am to 5.30 pm) for theory and practical lessons

ENTRY REQUIREMENT

The applicant must posses at least a Class 4 driving license. Applicants without Class 5 license will be allowed to attend the lessons and sit for assessment but will be given 1 year to obtain the Class 5 driving license before awarded the certificate.

Award holders must achieve at least 75% attendance and sit for assessment. Those who failed to do so would have to refund the sponsored amount of $840.
