PC MAINTENANCE & TROUBLE SHOOTING SKILLS COURSE


 

INTRODUCTION

The Course is suitable for participants who wish to learn to repair PCs by taking apart, reassembling and configuring a complete PC system.  Participants will be able to identify the components and tools required to assemble and disassemble a PC. 

 

                                                                                         In addition, participants will be familiar with systematic troubleshooting techniques, which will allow them to identify and diagnose faults ranging from interrupt conflicts to defective memory chips.

 

The course is designed to impart practical knowledge and skills to participants to perform successful hardware service and support, as well as to solve DOS-related software problems.

Basic Tools & Safety Precautions; Hands On Disassembly & Assembly of PC; Configuring of PC & BIOS Setup; Installing & Upgrading Additional Hardware; Window Installation & Registry Protection; System Performance; Preventive Maintenance & Trouble Shooting Technique

COURSE SCHEDULE

18 Hours, lessons are held twice a week on weekdays evening; or once a week on weekend afternoons or evenings

 

ENTRY REQUIREMENT

Participants must have completed the Advanced Operating Systems Course, or its equivalent.
