TOWER CRANE (SADDLE JIB) OPERATION COURSE

 

INTRODUCTION

The Tower Crane Operation Course aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills to operate a Tower crane. The Certificate of Successful Completion of the course can be used to apply for a license from Ministry of Manpower to work as a tower crane operator in construction sites.

 

COURSE CONTENT

Introduction and orientation to tower crane

Safety devices and maintenance of tower cranes and its related regulations

Practical lifting operation

 

The course consists of 80% practical training on crane operation and 20%classroom lectures and video instructions.

English or Mandarin

 

COURSE SCHEDULE

Course Duration is 82 hours

 

11 full days (8.30am-5.30pm) for theory and practical lessons

 

ENTRY REQUIREMENT

The applicant must be physically fit, and is not suffering from colour blindness or vertigo (fear of height), and has no high blood pressure.
