INTRODUCTION

Organizations are structured flatter so that management can react faster to market demands in the face of change. With such a strategic approach, there is a need for empowerment. Empowerment comes in the form of a rationalized degree of autonomy in decision-making by members in an organization. Employees have to use skills in creativity and problem-solving when confronted with situations.

COURSE CONTENT

Introduction to two approaches to group problem-solving, Describe group skills in problem identification, problem-solving and decision making, Develop proficiency in problem analysis and resolution, Recognise and define a problem in creative problem-solving, Describe and apply the process for generating ideas, Describe a procedure for creative problem-solving, Explain the role of interpersonal skills awareness, Use of basic problem-solving procedures.
