Piloted in January 2006, the CDAC Workfare Programme aims to help single-parent, low-income and dysfunctional families to become self-reliant by engaging in adequate employment.

Eligibility Criteria:

-            Must be from single-parent, low-income and dysfunctional families;

-      Must be willing to engage in full-time or part-time employment;

-      Monthly gross household income and per capita income must not exceed $1,000 and $300, respectively; and

-      Application will be assessed on a case-by-case basis
