TARGET GROUPS

The CDAC Workfare Programme will specifically target at:

• Single-parent families with dependent children which include the widows/widowers, the divorcees and the unwed mothers;
• Intact families with children but the breadwinners of the families are low-wage earners; and
• Dysfunctional families, for example, parents have been missing, parents are serving prison sentence or in drug rehabilitation centres.

Eligibility Criteria

• From single-parent, low-income and dysfunctional families with dependent children;
• Willing to engage in full-time or part-time employment;
• Gross monthly household income and per capita income do not exceed $1,000 and $300, respectively; and
• Application will be assessed on a case-by-case basis
